Sally Lundburg and Keith Tallett are Hawaiʻi Island–based artists whose collaborative practice brings together mixed media, cultural research, image-making, and language. Their work often considers how histories are remembered, circulated, and transformed through objects, images, words, popular culture, and everyday experience, sometimes using humor and irony to unsettle familiar narratives.

Together, Lundburg and Tallett collaborate through Manukai, a shared creative practice rooted in Hawaiʻi Island. Their exhibition Revisiting Kealakekua Bay, Reworking the Captain Cook Monument (2026) examines historical memory, commemoration, colonial narratives, and souvenir culture through collaborative works that move between sculpture, installation, food, printed matter, and wearable objects.
