Across a panoramic 60 in canvas, streaks of teal, navy, and lime pull horizontally through a pale field, broken by a burst of white impasto at left. A fine mist of spray paint settles over the lower right. Acrylic, spray paint, and pastel move between stained, drawn, and built-up passages. From the Wipeout Series, which translates the experience beneath the surface during a wipeout into abstract form.

Jackie Rey’s and the Donkey Mill Art Center are excited to partner in presenting rotating exhibitions featuring Hawaiʻi Island artists.
